An Interesting Read

While reading the recent edition of The Economist (a London based buisness and politics magazine) I came across an article that should be of interest to all members of the Church. It discusses how Mitt Romney would be an ideal Republican candidate for President, but questions whether or not being a Mormon will prevent that. The article can be found online here, or can be found in a September 30th-October 6th editionof The Economist.

It was a good read, thanks.

On a similar (but scary) note, Bill O'Reilley was interviewing Ann Coulter tonight, and they both agreed that Mitt Romney was their favorite for the nomination.

The fact that I agree with them brings chills to my spine.

well, if by some stretch of the imagination, the race in '08 was between hillary and Mitt, there would be no need for daytime television.

Okay, here's a completely outrageous hypothetical:

What if Hillary and Mitt teamed up together under the same ticket? Let's discuss this crazy idea.

If Romney were the Presidential candidate, I wouldn't mind it enough not to vote for him (I would pray nightly that he was never assasinated though). It would almost be worth it to see the look on the evangelical's faces.

Now that actually would make for good TV. They could option the film rights to WB...The Political Odd Couple. Her stern, patrician finger-shaking against his pluckish devil-may-care hijinks. Oh, the times that could be...the 'hillar'ity.

schadenfreude..?

I don't think so, becuase it's not really a misfortune, they just turn it into one. I think schadenfreude would be more suited to if I laughed when Bill Gates got a pie in the face (which in fact, I did).
